MRA ACT General Meeting and AGM - October 2025

We'd like to invite you to the AGM to be held on 14th October at Eastlake Football Club, 3 Oxley St, Griffith at 7.30pm. Meet for dinner and a chat from 6.00pm.

Importantly and critically, we need volunteers for committee roles. Yes, doesn't everyone say that at AGM time - but we really mean it. Seriously mean it. 

Here's some information about the roles and what's needed, and before you ask, the time commitment isn't onerous....

  ️ VOLUNTEER SECRETARY POSITION 

We're seeking an organised, detail-oriented individual to work with us in a supported environment to serve as our Committee Secretary. 

Responsibilities: 

• Organise monthly online committee meetings 

• Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes 

• Support general administrative functions 

Ideal Candidate: 

• Experience with committee procedures and record-keeping 

• Passionate about motorcyclists' rights and road safety 

GENERAL COMMITTEE MEMBERS 

Join our dynamic team in various exciting roles! We need hands-on, can-do volunteers for: 

Specific Skills We're Seeking: 

• Social Media & Website Management – Engage our online community and maintain our digital presence 

• IT Management – Support our technical infrastructure and digital operations 

What You'll Do: 

• Help organise signature events including  our annual ACT Motorcyclists Christmas Toy Run 
• Engage with diverse audiences about our advocacy work 

• Champion motorcyclists' rights and road safety initiatives 

We're Looking For: 

• Enthusiastic motorcyclists or strong supporters of motorcycling 

• Hands-on individuals ready to roll up their sleeves 

• Team players committed to improving road safety for all riders
